Bolo de Fuba

Brazilian bolo de fubá is a beloved cornmeal cake that holds a special place in Brazilian cuisine. Made primarily with fine cornmeal (fubá), this cake is known for its moist texture and slightly sweet flavor, often enhanced with ingredients like grated coconut or cheese. Bolo de fubá is a popular choice for breakfast or as an afternoon snack, frequently enjoyed alongside a cup of coffee or tea. Its simple yet comforting qualities make it a favorite in many Brazilian households, often passed down through generations as a cherished family recipe.

The preparation of bolo de fubá reflects the essence of Brazilian home cooking, where warmth and tradition blend seamlessly. The cake is typically baked until golden brown, resulting in a delightful crust that contrasts beautifully with its tender interior. Whether served at festive gatherings or enjoyed on a quiet afternoon, bolo de fubá is more than just a dessert; it represents the rich agricultural heritage of Brazil and the joy of sharing homemade treats with loved ones. Each slice tells a story of community, culture, and the simple pleasures of life.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup (240ml) milk

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated coconut (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round or square baking pan.

2. **Mix Wet Ingredients:**
